Oh well I woke me up this morning in a happy way
and I turned right over and I thought I’d say
but you beat me to it you read my thoughts
and you didn’t say a word but that was enough
it’s a beautiful morning
what a glorious day it is
a beautiful morning and I hope it stays that way
so we can go on out and play

And we’re in England oh the land of I’m all right Jack
where Connie’s in control, so is Interpol
and 50,000 workers got the sack
and I don’t care about any or all of that
I’m living my life and I’m loving the fact
that I’m livin and it’s a gas
and then I’ll think about the beauty
that is in the air
’cause that’s about all that’s left for which I care
